If you’re as geeky as I am you are probably sick of Facebook. No offense to the lovely people behind the social networking Mecca. It’s just that I do most of my socializing on Twitter these days. Aside from managing some client’s ad campaigns on Facebook, managing the RSVP for the Geek Breakfasts and checking birthdays, I don’t have very much reason to log in.

Well now I have one less reason. A person named Vegan Bob has designed a Facebook app (one that’s actually useful) that will transfer your birthdays and events calendars right into your iCal or Gmail Calendar called fbCal.

Now when I log into my Gmail Calendar every morning I have a clear view who’s birthday it is. Thanks for the app Vegan Bob. Oh and Happy Birthday Mick.
