PodCamp Nashville needs YOU!

By | March 16, 2012

Volunteer for PodCamp NashvillePodCamp Nashville is quickly approaching, the event will be held on Saturday, April 14th. Have you registered yet?

As you know, PCN is a free unconference made for the community by the community. Anyone can propose a session before, or sign up to speak during the event.

What’s important to note is that in order to make the event amazing, we need YOUR help. It’s not easy to host something so incredible for around 800 people (our attendee number from last year).

Volunteer State

We live in the Volunteer State, right? So please consider signing up to help if you love PodCamp. There are plenty of small and large roles that need filling. Show your support while networking with members of Nashville’s incredible technology and business communities.

I asked volunteers from previous years to share one word to best describe their experiences volunteering for PodCamp Nashville. The wordle above was made with their submissions.

Have you volunteered for PodCamp before? What did you get out of the experience?

Enjoy it? Please share it.

Volunteering for PodCamp Nashville is where I met many great connections. Including a few current partners and clients.

I have often hired out work to other volunteers as well. It’s a great way to see work ethic in action. It’s  much better than any job posting or advertising I could have done.

All of your points are so true John. I’ve met so many incredible people from participating in PodCamp over the years.

I only wish I could be more involved this year. However, you can bet that I’ll be there bright and early to set up chairs, tables, etc.

I went last year and knew immediately that I had to be a part of it this year. Looking forward to meeting all the folks I missed in 2011.
