Moosicorn: an experiment in sustainable living
By Dave | November 23, 2010
What would happen if you decided that you wanted to create your own sustainable farm? What if that farm helped you reliably produce your own power, food, and shelter, minimize water use, and undertake your own individual artistic endeavors – all in a sustainable manner, while keeping costs low?
Would you do it? Scott and Alex Mueller have at their Moosicorn Ranch.
Before you yell “tree huggers!”, you’ll want to note that they installed an Internet connection before a working toilet. Now that’s geeky dedication (and stop being so hateful to the tree people).
I find Scott and Alex’s endeavor an inspiring one. Check out their presentation from Gnomedex last year. I was lucky enough to be in the audience and to meet the Muellers.
I would love to be able to do something similar with my family one day. Would you?
