A Glimpse of the Future

By | March 12, 2009

Thanks to Jett Loe for sending me a message on Twitter to check this TED Talk out. I always love the quality of presenters from TED, this is certainly one that will stick with me for a long time to come. Prepare to have your mind blown!

This demo — from Pattie Maes’ lab at MIT, spearheaded by Pranav Mistry — was the buzz of TED. It’s a wearable device with a projector that paves the way for profound interaction with our environment. Imagine “Minority Report” and then some.

Did you know I can help you?

that's some crazy stuff. maybe a bit too far. kinda forces you to ditch those initial start up conversations with a good looking lady “what's your name? damn! sorry, i wasn't looking at your boobs. honest.. hey wait! come back!”

Ha ha ha. Yes, you'd certainly have to be careful where you point
    those things. ;-)
