Hey Dave. I just got your email announcement re Kiva from Kiva and did a little deeper looking around. Did you know Kiva's average reported (grain of salt here of course) interest rate for its loans is greater than 35%? I almost shared out your email via my blog and I'm glad I didn't. Usurious interest rate loans do not make my top ten list in the battle against poverty. While it seems a sustainable business, kiva.org doesn't seem like an humanitarian endeavor, no matter its nonprofit status.
