In Kentucky… you take your cans to a center in Mayfield… and they actually pay you. I used to take cans every 6 months (we had lots of places to store them) and would get about 100 bucks… it doesn’t seem like much, but its better than nothing, right?

Thanks Meeyotch. We have recycling back home in Toronto, it’s a great progam. We also have 0.10 refund on all beer bottles and cans (and now wine bottles too). That paid for a lot of pizza back in the day!

I’ve heard talk on a battery refund policy too. That would be fantastic.
