YouTube kills innocent videos
YouTube slapped Viacom last week which resulted in YouTube removing 100,000 videos. The videos removed were suppose to include any Viacom clips such as MTV or Comedy Central.
Unfortunately, YouTube actually deleted videos with keywords that Viacom had requested be removed. Any user who had a legitimate video, but which used one of the keywords were deleted. Ouch.
Many people are upset with YouTube’s quick removal of the videos. Surely there could have been a better way.
